Scentsy Story
My name is Katrina and I live in the beautiful state of Tennessee, I am originally from Western NY but relocated in 2017 to help my parents when my father had to have a lot of medical procedures done. I have 4 children, Jordan, Kiahna, Amaya and Gavin. I can't forget about Jasper, my 3 year old Boxer. I work as a server in a local restaurant and absolutely love what I do. My journey with Scentsy started many years ago (2011) when I purchased my first warmer and scent bar. I instantly fell in love with the quality of the products, variety of scents and the uniqueness of the company and I became a frequent customer. Fast forward to December 25, 2020. Christmas night I ended up in the hospital for several days after what eventually was diagnosed with a severe gall bladder attack and possible bowel blockage. That set in motion a few unfortunate chain of events that would lead up to the decision to join Scentsy as a consultant. After surgery in March 2021, recovery and numerous appointments, I missed a lot of work. As a server, there is no compensation for missed time. The final nail in the financial coffin was getting Covid in August of the same year. Once again I found myself out of work for several weeks with nothing to fall back on but my savings(thank goodness I had one). My sister had recently became a Scentsy consultant and reached out to me about having a party for her. I was skeptical because typically I do not do well with those kinds of things but I agreed and she set it up for October of 2021. My party turned out to be a big success. I believe it was successful mostly because I genuinely shared my love and passion for Scentsy products. It was easy to share something I love and talk so excitedly about it. I thought to myself, "Hey! I could probably do this!" and so I asked her about flipping my party to become a consultant. I took it for what it was to me at that time, a blessing that just might allow me to get back on track after all the craziness of the previous year. I launched my Scentsy Business on October 15th and I have been having an absolute blast! I have reached several preset goals and earned rewards from those goals. I have been able to start my bounce back, learn things about myself I had no idea I was capable of, meet amazing people, set new goals for myself, new skills, and do it all sharing my love of Scentsy. I love that I can involve my children in my business and my son now calls the UPS/FedEx trucks, the Scentsy trucks hahaha! To sum my about me up, Scentsy has become a wonderful addition to my life. I am so glad I took a leap of faith and decided to try something new with nothing to lose and everything to gain. I'm happy to say that I KNOW that I will not only be back on track very soon, but I will also be shooting for even bigger goals within the near future. The sky is the limit with Scentsy and I'm shooting for the stars! I deserve it and so do you!
